Wellness for all with Affinity Cancer Experience

Wellness for all with Affinity Cancer Experience

We're pleased to announce that we're now offering training for our ‘Affinity Cancer Experience’ as a standalone experience to spa partners and hotels.

The ‘Affinity Cancer Experience’ offers comfort and support to guests; a gentle and accessible journey for those living with and recovering from cancer. The experience was first launched at our flagship spa, at Boringdon Hall, in 2021 and is now available at numerous spas’ across the British Isles. Developed specifically to aid those undergoing medical treatment, who need a little nourishing, relaxation, or spiritual healing.

Each Affinity Cancer Experience is tailored to the individual guest’s needs, taking into consideration their circumstances and personal requirements. Starting with a nurturing foot ritual and consultation, all experience incorporates our Strengthening Body Oil, a natural blend of ingredients designed to support the immune system and the feeling of inner strength. The bespoke experience is given mindfully ensuring guests feel safe and soothed, focusing on their wellness, naturally.

“Having gone through a cancer journey with a family member, I appreciate that sometimes you just need a break from it all.  A change of scenery.  Permission not to think about what is happening.  The opportunity to be normal and do things with your family and friends.  Live your life, grasp the moment no matter what is happening.  Make that day a good day, a great day, a fantastic day.” Comments Diane Nettleton, founder of GAIA Skincare.

For spa’s looking to offer a cancer safe experience, Affinity training is now available to be booked with our Head Trainer. The 3-day course is CIBTAC recognised, offering a specialised qualification to certify therapists to safely carry out treatments with clients who are undergoing treatment or recovering from cancer.

We're also pleased to gift Affinity Cancer Experiences to patients at The Mustard Tree support centre in Plymouth, gifting two nurturing experiences every month at Gaia Spa. Supporting our local community and benefiting those who are struggling with the implications of living with illness either on an emotional level or financial level.
